Gillian K. D. Crozier, Ph.D.

I am a Tier 2 Canada Research Chair in Environment, Culture and Values, and an Associate Professor of Philosophy, at Laurentian University in Sudbury, Canada.

I currently direct two research centres at Laurentian -- the Centre for Evolutionary Ecology & Ethical Conservation, and Context(e) -- where I also serve as the SSHRC Leader. My research and teaching focus on the philosophy of the life sciences. This includes topics in the philosophy of biology, bioethics, the philosophy of ecological research, and philosophical and policy issues raised by the interactions between human and non-human animals.
